Information we collect

Profile information

When you create a Crowd11 account, we collect your crowd name (display name), country of origin, supported club, and the languages you speak. This is used to match you with compatible fans and personalise your experience.

Device and usage data

We collect standard device identifiers, operating system version, and anonymised app usage data (screens visited, rooms joined, session duration) to diagnose issues and improve the app.

Audio data

Crowd11 facilitates live peer-to-peer audio. We do not record or store audio from rooms. Audio streams are transmitted in real time between participants and are not retained after the session ends.

Notification preferences

If you opt in to match alerts, we store your notification preferences and the fixtures you have alerts for. We do not share this with third parties.

How we use your information

Matchmaking

Your club, country, and language preferences are used exclusively to match you with fans watching the same live fixture. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising profiling.

Safety and moderation

Reports submitted through the in-app support system are reviewed by our moderation team. We retain report content and associated usernames to investigate and action incidents.

App improvements

Anonymised usage analytics help us understand how fans use Crowd11 so we can improve room discovery, matchmaking speed, and news room content.

Data sharing

Third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We use limited third-party services for cloud hosting and push notification delivery that process data solely on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

Other users

Your crowd name is visible to room participants. Your country, club, and language selections are used for matching only and are not shown to other users.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

Your rights

Access and deletion

You can access and update profile information in Settings at any time. You can delete your account from Settings → Remove Account, permanently removing all data within 30 days.

Data portability

You may request a copy of your data by contacting support@getcrowd11.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Objection and restriction

You have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@getcrowd11.com to make a request.

Data retention

Account data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or safety purposes.

Safety records

Report records related to serious safety incidents may be retained for up to 12 months to support ongoing moderation and legal obligations.

Security

How we protect your data

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only, and we conduct regular security reviews.
